what do you do when you come across a fellow group-mate who is so irresponsible?

in my case, i kept quiet; i had my 2other friends confronted her about HER problems. so we thought she would show more a tiny bit of interest and at least contribute a little to our work after such confrontations: twice? thrice? or more? i dont remember.

we started this research study almost 2months ago. correct me if im wrong (if any of you; my members; are reading this). we finally formed sufficient research questions after weeks of hardwork. her contribution to it? NOTHING. so we handed her the written questions &asked her to type them into a complete set of questionnaire. how wrong can you go when all you need to do is just T.Y.P.E. according to the questions written clearly on the paper?? not forgetting she was fed with thorough explaination on her part. but still! her work was utterly rubbish. no proper alignments. missing words in sentences. grammar mistakes. MCH!

leaving only less than a week to complete the whole research; she still dilly-dally with journals she was told to look for.

on tuesday; via sms between she (red) & ejl (blue)

"i thought you are supposed to pass me the journals during this class"

"sorry ill be absent for this class. im on mc. ill give it to you tomorrow"

she was present earlier for lectures & i saw her in the library.

this time i really lost my cool. &text her straightaway "i no longer can put up with your irresponsible attitude towards the research. you can keep the journals by your bed side. we will do assessment on your credits contributed to this work"

she did what shes best at la of course. came to us the next day and kept apologizing to me. giving all sorts of B.S.

last night's mini-gathering with friends turned out to be a massive drinking night *grins*

thank you roy! you nearly got us drunk. but who ended up drunk *ahem* i shall not say it here la hor. haha.

last sat's rave wasnt as expected. it was .. alright. i guess its because i just couldnt stop making comparisons between his live set @holland &the one held here. :P



i was bored and almost dozed off half way thru his set.

&i thought i was the only one feeling bored. :D

it was a good night afterall :) met up with friends whom i hadnt hung out for a long long time.

ive been busy. pardon me for not uploading photos taken @renault rave still. -_-

my supposed holiday in korea next month is cancelled postponed to september (yet to be confirmed). *sniffs* mother's knee condition refrains her from walking much. oh well. :x

since my finals are like, sooon .. im thinking of going for a short trip during my break. plus, roy's able to take a couple of days off. a beach-weekend getaway maybe (sekali penang as suggested by him).

expensive-but-bad treatment

so mother forced me to consult ophthalmic specialist @pantai medical centre.

almost 1 and a half hours wait i only spent LESS THAN 5 minutes with the specialist. one bloody cocky datuk lady. no explaination. no eye contact. only a minute long examination on my eyes with the machine and said "very bad conjunctivitis".

"hmmm ... ok" i said

*silence*

"come back tomorrow for check-up"

"so fast?? is it necessary?"

super de-lan-si de-specialist replied "you wouldn't want your whole family members get infected. dont come if you dont want to"

&consultation fee was RM100 (&i receieved such a bad treatment; bloody hell) + RM40 on medicines.

of course i dont intend to go back to her. if my condition worsen a few days after ill just go to another specialist.

sometimes things are better left unknown or unsaid. they hurt if they are not meant to be found out.

so dont dig into them already.

heck its been 5 days and its getting worse as day passes.

i had it before but nothing like this time - my right eye is basically swollen. dahlah my eyes so small.

&i had such a hard time finishing my thesis the past few days because of my blurred vision. was in a complete mess with my work when i got infected. anyhow i was able to heave a great sigh of relief as i still got it done on time :D *clap clap clap*

mother&i planning to go to korea mid of next month.


she called up for enquiries on the airfares during the MAS travel fair.


one-way fare cost RM599. so 2-way would be RM1198


as a frequent-flyer herself my mother knows pretty much how the airport charges are like.


"lets just say taxes add on another hundred plus. max RM200 for each person. total fare should be around RM1400. but the billing for each came up to RM1800+. crazy! might as well wait for MATTA fair," said mother.


additional charge of RM600+ : reason being cheaper airfare (during promotional period) thus taxes are charged higher --> WTF?


not so much of a travel fair after all eh?

i feel like i just got rammed over by a truck.

i am working on whatever shite im supposed to already!

i need more time in a day la. if only ive more than 24hours a day. &my memory doesnt lapse on me so very often.

never too big?

i was in the midst of searching for a suitable notebook a coupla weeks ago.

&thought of settling down with a 14" Acer brand.

then!

w : why not buy a duo-core as it works faster &people are going to switch to this tech in the near future.

me : ive absolute no idea about computers. but i will take into consideration tho.

so the next few days i did some enquiries on that new model from Acer.

&another friend got to know i was looking for a notebook.

yh : hey ive got you some brochures; &there's this one from Acer selling at a pretty good price. (also a duo-core &he started explaining bits about the goods of it)

taking their advices; i finally bought a 15.4" Acer duo-core

now. im starting to have doubts on my buy cos the notebook seems to look too big for me. :(

a friend even jokingly said "its never too big. easier to read ma &can view more applications at a time. but for your size ... &the notebook ... hahahaha"

ill be using this blog from today onwards. :)

oh well. this is going to be a brief write in.

havent been doing much lately; as i am pretty tied down with my final year's thesis&assignments. taking 3double-module subjects is not funny. &roy being busy with his work. &i see us cherishing our sundays more than ever since the beginning of this month. heh. not the usual paktor day @mall;catching a movie;drinking with friends but laze around til late noon& purchase some DVDs then spend the rest of the night watching movie(s).
